    Description

Well-known author and modeling expert, Pelle Søeborg, introduces the sectional model railroad layout in his all-new book,
    Building a Sectional Layout.
If you’re building for a specific spot  in your overall layout, Pelle offers how-to advice for modeling sections, building benchwork, and laying track.
Using his Midwest layout, Pelle shares new techniques that can be applied to both sectional and stationary layouts, from design to final details. His addition of a grain elevator demonstrates why every layout should have a "signature" structure — a "wow" factor.
    The book covers:
Planning and designing a sectional layout.
    Building benchwork and laying track.
How-to advice for creating realistic scenery and structures (a bridge, farm fields, streets, highways, and more).
The importance of building a "signature" structure, using Pelle's grain elevator as an example.

Buyer to pay for shipping in the USA. For additional items, see my other auctions. I have several other items available and will combine shipping for multiple auctions. Please email with any questions that you may have.
    A Word on Shipping
    FOR COMBINED SHIPPING:
IF YOU WIN MULTIPLE AUCTIONS PLEASE WAIT FOR A COMBINED INVOICE.  IF YOU DO NOT WAIT FOR A COMBINED INVOICE, ALL ITEMS WILL SHIP SEPARATELY.
Absolutely no international shipping, no items will be shipped outside of the USA.
I do not make money on shipping, so there is never a charge for handling or packaging.
I use USPS Priority Mail for a majority of my shipments because it is fast and you will usually have your item in 2-3 days.
Because of the recent increase in postal rates, I will offer shipping for many of the smaller items by First Class Mail in order to cut down on shipping costs.
Books and videos are shipped by media mail. I also have numerous items for sale at a time and will always combine on shipping costs to save you money. If you buy multiple items where weight becomes a factor, I will use UPS, at your request to lower the costs. If you purchase multiple items that are small, they will be combined into a Priority Mail package since it will be more cost effective. Unless prohibited by the post office, every item I put in the mail will have a tracking number for delivery confirmation. I will gladly provide it upon request. If you do not receive your item in a reasonable amount of time please contact me.
Lastly is the matter of insurance. Although I take every reasonable care when packing your item, I cannot be responsible for what happens to the package after the post office takes possession of it.
All purchases over 0.00 will be insured, at no extra cost to you.
This is for your protection as well as mine, and is in compliance with current Ebay rules. Also, if you have any questions please feel free to email me.
    PAYPAL PAYMENTS:
I WILL ONLY SHIP TO A CONFIRMED ADDRESS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
    Auction Information:
I do not use a reserve price on my auctions as I believe that it discourages bidding when people don't know if they have any real chance at getting the item. If it is an item of significant value, I will simply put a starting bid of the lowest price that I will accept for the item. This will protect my investment as well as guarantee that the item will be sold after someone places a bid.
I will not end auctions early
to make a fast sale. This is unfair to other bidders and violates Ebay’s policies. I do offer "Second Chance Offers" at times as I may have multiple items in my inventory.
    Customer Satisfaction:
It is my desire to satisfy my customers. Each auction will have a detailed description of the item along with photos. If you have any questions, please email prior to bidding and I will do my best to clear up your questions.
Most items are brand new; however, collector items such as Post War Lionel Trains or imported brass train items are used. In these cases, I will try to include a rating of the condition as well as a detailed description of any damage, missing or broken parts. Additional photos will be included.
Any item that is defective or not as described will have a money back guarantee. If you simply don't want the item, a refund will be given less the associated auction fees. Shipping charges are not refundable. E-mail me first for a return shipment authorization and shipping instructions.
    Note:
In some cases, items that are broken will be sold for parts or restoration. These will be clearly indicated in the auction and will not be sold with any expectation of being in operating order.
    Feedback:
I will feedback as soon as payment is received. I do not hold back on feedback until the customer leaves his feedback. If you are satisfied with my service, tell a friend. If not, tell me, I will do my best to correct any problems. Because of Ebay’s new detailed seller ratings, it has become important that all four criteria; item description, communication, shipping time and shipping charges are done in a reasonable fashion. I will try my best to meet all criteria and if you are satisfied with your purchase, I would appreciate it if you leave the appropriate feedback.
